About Us

We certainly put fun first!  Just remember, everyone measures fun on a different level.  Some are participating in events to simply get out on the golf course, for exercise, and to meet other people who share the same interest in golf.   Most want to get better.  Some don’t want to compete, some love to compete.  So, when you see all of these programs throughout the website and on our calendar of events, we are taking care of everyone at the same time.  Enjoy all of the opportunities, course access to great golf courses, and golf with your friends.  Set goals and find the level that you want to achieve!  Set confidence building short-term goals & long-term goals.  Feel free to call on us anytime for help!

We look forward to your requests!  Over the last 9 years, we have grown so much because of the programs, events, and policies that you asked for.  We delivered and will continue to do so!

Through the JGA of America and JGA Golf Academy & Fitting Center we offer:

1. A very extensive golfing schedule at great venues with the opportunity to not only learn this great game of golf; more so, we can take you to the next level!

2. Our instruction gives you the tools you need, while the tournaments give you the platform to not only put your mechanics to the test, they give you the stage to showcase your talents.  We constantly monitor your mechanics and course management to give you what your golf game needs to perform at a higher level.

3. College Prep Tournaments and College Scouting Services.  It’s simple, we will not only get you ready to compete at the collegiate level, we will do what it takes to help you get noticed!  Let’s go for that scholarship!

4. JGA Merchandise ~ We offer the best prices for the following products:  Ping, Mizuno, US Kids Golf, Taylor Made/Adidas, Adams, Square Two, and more!

5. Free Personalized Club Fittings for JGA Members!  Normally, this free service is only offered to those who purchase a set of clubs ($40 Value).

6. JGA Club Repair ~ We get your broken equipment or worn-out grips fixed up so you can get back on the links!

7. JGA Management Services ~ Besides the JGA of America, we manage the South Jersey Golf Association’s 22 tournaments/events for adults.  Whether it’s consulting work or helping out with your association/tournament, we offer you the professional expertise to provide a successful event for your participants.

Golfers participate in our events for many reasons:

1. To play in quality organized events at great golf courses where the atmosphere is first class and the camaraderie you develop with other kids or adults builds a lot of new friendships.  It is amazing how many life-long friendships are made on the golf course!

2. Through golf,  unlike most other sports, you get 100% play time!  You are accountable for all of your decisions and swings while learning the games USGA Rules of Golf and Etiquette.

3. Competition.  You like to compete.  Some compete to simply challenge themselves.  They keep improving their skills.  Others compete to win and go for the medals, trophies, and Player of the Year Standings.  This is your stage to not only learn how to compete, you can compete against the best of our region!  We get golfers new to competition all the time.  After a year or two, look out!  They are right in the mix of great competition!

4. You want to play in college!  Well, then organized competition is a must to get you on the radar for college coaches to know that you even exist.  You start off by playing on the Cape Jr. Golf Tour and then mix in national events that are officially ranked by the Junior Golf Scoreboard (www.njgs.com).  These 36-hole or more events are offered by the JGA Tour.  We can even combine two Cape Jr. Golf Tour events together to give you an even better economical approach to getting recognized by college coaches!
