Parents and former junior golfers often ask “What about us?” “We want to play in organized events!”
Here are four options: 1. Join a golf course or country club. Golf courses/country clubs often have an active calendar of events for you to enjoy organized competition with other members and your guests.
IF YOU ARE A MEMBER AT A GOLF COURSE, YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FOLLOWING EVENTS: 2. Join the South Jersey Golf Association. They have twenty events throughout their three divisions: Men, Women, & Mixed Visit their website: www.sjgolf.org
3. Join the Golf Association of Philadelphia. The GAP offers a lot of amateur events, including very prestigious individual amateur events. Visit their website: www.gapgolf.org (junior events too!)
4. Join the New Jersey State Golf Association. The NJSGA offers a lot of amateur events, including very prestigious individual events. Visit their website: www.njsga.org (junior events too!)
